Mr. Zsombor Szabadkai, senior project manager of Tomlin has won the Special Award this year.

Projektmenedzsment Kiválóság Tábla proudly honours excellence in project management through its Project Manager of the Year Award for the umpteenth time in Hungary. Mr. Zsombor Szabadkai, senior project manager of Tomlin has won the Special Award this year.

Mr. Szabadkai has won the Special Award with the Hungarian Telekom Headquarter project. This state of the art office building has been built between 2015 and 2018 in Budapest, total surface area is 105k sqm, the largest office building built in one phase, for one tenant in our country. Tomlin was contracted by the developer of the project, the scope was project management, cost management, technical supervisory and tenant coordination.

The award ceremony together with a press conference was held on the 7th of November 2018. Mr. László Kremmer, the president of the Hungarian Chapter of PMI has highlighted the project manager credo of Mr. Szabadkai: "The Project Manager is the engine of the project, who is taking responsibility for the success of the project. He owns the coordination of the activity of the other stakeholders, fully and deeply understands the approaches of all the parties and clearly leads the communication. The Project Manager by far the best in delegating tasks, consistent in asking and checking for results and most importantly is able to create a real team for the successful realisation of the project."
